Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is a fantastic way to get away from the harsh winter weather and escape to sunny Florida from March 5 through the 8.
The festival started in 2016 and is one of the first major music festivals that happen in the United States festival season. It takes place over four days at Sunshine Grove where festival-goers are able to camp and enjoy the beach as well as the festival.
Headlining the first night of the festival is Rüfüs Du Sol from Sidney, Australia. The alternative dance group recently released an album of remixes, SOLACE REMIXED, in November 2019. This album remixes the songs that were released on their 2018 album SOLACE for a fresh new take on each track.
Headlining night two of the festival is American DJ and producer, BASSNECTAR. His most recent album Reflective (Part 4) was released in April 2019.
Vampire Weekend will be headlining night three, they are an American indie rock band from New York City. The band headlined Detroit’s own Mo Pop last festival season.
Their newest album Father of the Bride was released in May 2019 and features collaborations with Danielle Haim and Steve Lacy. This is the fourth studio album from the band, and the first released under the major label Columbia Records.
Headlining the final night is British folk-rock band, Mumford & Sons. Their latest release is their single “Blind Leading The Blind”. The music video for the single was recently dropped in December and can be seen here.
The festival will also include sets by ARIZONA, Kaskade, HAIM, Blood Orange, Mallrat, Glass Animals, Clairo, The Aces, and many more.
