Anderson .Paak to headline The Fillmore

Singer, rapper and producer Anderson .Paak, also known as Brandon Park Anderson, is returning to the newly furnished Fillmore Detroit on Friday, February 15 alongside his accompanying band, Free Nationals.
The Oxnard, Calif. native, during the beginning years of his band the Free Nationals, began to garner attention in the hip-hop scene, even gaining the attention of Dr. Dre – leading to multiple appearance on Dr. Dre’s 2014 album, Compton. Fast forward various albums, including the hit Malibu, and .Paak is now embarking on his Andy’s Beach Club World Tour.
The now 33-year-old musician recently released his long-awaited third studio album Oxnard this past November after changing his name from Breezy Lovejoy. The release includes the hit singles “TINTS” with Kendrick Lamar and “Who R U?”
In addition, the LP includes a wide range of guest appearances, including J. Cole, Snoop Dogg, BJ the Chicago Kid and Q-Tip.
