Eliza & The Delusionals to release heartfelt new EP

The first track on A STATE OF LIVING IN AN OBJECTIVE REALITY takes no time introducing you to the idea that Eliza & the Delusionals are a force to be reckoned with.

“Swimming Pool” brings a series of quick guitar strums that lead seamlessly into vocalist Eliza Klatt’s delicate voice and heart driven lyrics.

The Australian indie band is set to release the EP following the success of their single “Pull Apart Heart.” A STATE OF LIVING IN AN OBJECTIVE REALITY will be released March 20 via Cooking Vinyl.

“I think it’s definitely our favorite work we’ve done so far,” says Klatt in a press release. “We all feel really proud and excited about the songs, and we’ve been holding onto it for a little while now so it’s so exciting to finally see it being released.”

Klatt’s lyricism throughout the EP presents an emotional closeness that listeners can feel as they discover the songs.

“Through most of 2018/19 I was having a lot of issues with mental health and the position  I was in at the time,” she shares. “I felt really stuck somewhere that I couldn’t actually get out of, so a lot of the songs lyrically were really influenced by that.”

While listening, one can tell that these songs are going to translate perfectly to a live performance.

“We learned how to put our live set and show together through the experience of watching bigger-scale bands do it,” says Klatt.

Eliza & The Delusionals are set to tour with beabadoobee in March through April as well as Battlerock and Firefly. It was recently announced that the band will be joining PVRIS on select dates of their U.S. tour. More information on upcoming tour dates can be found here.
