The final day of Common Ground Festival was packed, with headliner Gucci Mane accompanied by other rap artists Kevin Gates, T-Pain and DJ Jazzy Jeff it was a great way to end the four day long festival.

Common Ground does a great job at incorporating local artists into their lineup. The day was opened by King Khancept (not pictured), a midwest based rap artist joined by his rap group “BLK”.

Following was Kalamazoo natives Prime Suspects (not pictured). The group consists of Blaine “Kid K-Zoo” Burnett, Mario “Skeez” Burney, Ray “Cold Cash” Alexander, and Brandon “Sino” Slaughter. The group has taken off after the release of their debut album The Take Off.

The opener of the Auto Value Stage this year was Supa Bwe (not pictured) who’s energy was a perfect way to get the crowd moving.

DJ Jazzy Jeff followed suit over on the Sparrow Stage. The successor to “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince” with partner Will Smith featured favorites such as “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” and the infamous “Men in Black”.

Grammy award winning artist T-Pain threw it back with his 2007 hit song “Buy U a Drank” before Kevin Gates performed fan favorite “Change Lanes” as well as his 2018 single “How We Livin'”.

Finally, Gucci Mane took the stage to a packed crowd. The trap artist has been making a name for himself in the scene. His single “I Get the Bag” featuring Migos off of his collaboration with Metro Boomin’ peaked at #11 on Billboard Hot 100. The entire set was high energy, and the crowd bounced along and rapped along with him, ending the festival on a high note.
