The Faim to play the Shelter with Stand Atlantic

After releasing their long-awaited debut album State of Mind, Australian based band The Faim will be co-headlining the Shelter with Stand Atlantic this Tuesday.

Working with alt-rock legends such as Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) on their debut single “Saints of the Sinners” last year has shown that while these punk rockers are new, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with.

The band worked with renowned producer John Feldmann on their EP Summer is a Curseturning heads from those in the scene. Their catchy sound is one reminiscent of the days of Fall Out Boy and Green Day – but with their own twist.

Tracks like “Humans” on the album highlight the force that the band brings on State of Mind. The high energy alternative vibes leave fans anticipating just as impactful of a live set.

Joining The Faim will be fellow Australian natives Stand Atlantic. After drawing a dedicated crowd at Sad Summer Festival, the group is sure to be bringing it all to their Detroit stop. Their most recent single “Hate Me (Sometimes)”  exemplify the bands punk rock sound fronted by kick-ass vocalist Bonnie Fraser.

Opening the evening will be WSTR and Hold Close. Tickets are still available and can be found here. Doors are 6 p.m. at The Shelter in Detroit, MI.
