The Ten Year Fanfare is back with 2009 throwback cover sets

The third annual Ten Year Fanfare takes place tomorrow evening at The Crofoot Ballroom. The show is filled with cover sets of albums that peaked in 2009.

From Lady Gaga to Paramore to Breaking Benjamin, there is something to cater to everyone’s taste.

The fanfare has been a great tradition in the local scene, allowing bands to join together to cover albums that influenced their own music. This year, Boys of Fall will be headlining as A Day to Remember, covering Homesick.

Tomorrow evening also marks a special reunion set from At the Hands of Victims. The band performed together last fall at a house show. However, tomorrow they will be Suicide Silence covering No Time to Bleed.

The fanfare has been hosted by Dylan Dulberg and Halie Butki since the original 2017 show. Other covers of the night include:

The Old Haunt (members of Blank Slate, Green and Alive, Novara Official, ex-Dethrone The Deceiver and more) as The Dear Hunter’s Act III: Life and Death

Blind Season as Breaking Benjamin’s Dear Agony

Celestials as The Devil Wears Prada’s With Roots Above & Branches Below

Tomorrow, The World as Paramore’s Brand New Eyes

i. as Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster

The Pretty Okay as Kelly Clarkson’s All I Ever Wanted

Lance McQuesten as Bon Iver’s Blood Bank
