Bearings debut album “Blue in the Dark”

Ottowa rock band Bearings debuted their first full length album Blue in the Dark today via Pure Noise Records. The bands soft indie rock vibes blend together with personable lyrics.

Last week, the band released the music video for the albums title track, “Blue in the Dark”.

The song’s romantic lyrics are paired with an emotion driven video that gives weight to the meaning of the song.

“The thought of dying is so scary – as it should be. So when someone just wants away from the pain – to the point they embrace their passing. That should say a lot about how much pain we’ve yet to experience.” said vocalist Doug Cousins in a press release.

Other favorite tracks of ours on the album are “Stuck in a Doorframe” and “Hear Me Say.”

The album is available for streaming or purchase on all major distributors.

This fall the band will be touring with Like Pacific and Roam. You can catch them here in Pontiac at the Pike Room on November 8. Tickets can be purchased here.
