Dodie sells out the Majestic Theatre on September 14

Fresh off the release of her Human EP, YouTube sensation Dodie is stopping by Detroit as a part of her 2019 tour, titled after her new release.

The English musician has been long known for redefining what music is – starting off by simply performing covers and original content on her YouTube channel – doddleoddle. However, it was her 2016 release “Sick of Losing Soulmates” that began her published music career.

She has yet to publish an official, full-length release, but that seems to be her focus. “I would like to make an album, definitely,” she shares in a recent The Line of Best Fit interview. “I don’t think you ever feel ready for anything, you just have to do it and learn and get better. I’m not going to give up! I’d like to make something longer form.”

Her melancholy-laced, empowering pop is truly unique – as evident in her latest EP. Songs like “If I’m Being Honest” and “Monster” showcase her strength and vulnerability.

Opening for her Human tour is New Jersey artist Adam Melchor. His acoustic sound pairs well with Dodie, but he also shares her intense vulnerability. Check out his latest release “Joyride” here.

Dodie will be performing this Friday, September 14th at the Majestic Theatre.
