Local Shows of the Week

Despite the cold weather, there are still so many things to do and shows to go to. We’ve rounded up this week’s local shows for you to pick from.  Remember – we always recommend reaching out to the bands themselves for tickets first.  If not, you can always purchase online.

Thursday, January 30th – PJ’s Lager House- Detroit: SensaixJuju, The Long Stairs, and Asklepius.

Nothing like a PJ’s Lager House gig, right?  Check out these three sweet acts gracing the stage this Thursday.

Friday, January 31st – The Crofoot – Pontiac: Crashing Cairo, No Alarms, and Michigan Left.

This is going to be a fun show! Crashing Cairo, No Alarms, and Michigan Left are all ready to give you that alternative show energy you’ve been missing.

Saturday, February 1st – Good Sense Coffee – Brighton: Ohly, Sunday’s Always Calling, and Alex Teller.

Presented by Breadbox Shows, a southern Michigan based booking team, this show at Good Sense Coffee is going to warm you right up.  The show is mixing Ohly’s acoustic touch with Alex Teller’s folk ambiance and Sunday’s Always Calling’s lo-fi aura.

Saturday, February 1st – Blue House – Ypsilanti: Young Adult Fiction, Cameron Cook, Ship & Sail, No Fun Club, and Andrew Miller.

This gig in Ypsilanti (18+) will warm you right up.  With a five band bill, there’s no way you can’t not fall in love with some of these amazing artists.  **Also, they’re collecting canned food donations, so if you stop by make sure to bring some if you can!

Saturday, February 1st – The Crofoot – The Ten Year Fanfare

It’s time for the annual celebration of some of our favorite albums. Nostalgia hits hard this year with covers like ADTR’s What Separates Me From You, Taylor Swift’s Speak Now and many more 2010 hits.
