Temples – Lincoln Hall Chicago – 1.31.19

Temples packed Lincoln Hall with Art d’Ecco at the end of January. The impressive two band bill sold out the venue.

After a little bit of a wait to enter the venue – you enter a room full of people ready to party. Art d’Ecco kicked off the night with a packed room. The band included an unreleased song  in their set called “TV GOD.” The crowd really seemed to enjoy the surprise.

Temples took the stage, opening with “The Howl.”  Their set included many of their songs off their 2019 album, Hot Motion. Crowd hits included songs such as “Holy Horses”, “Hot Motion”, and many more.

Temples stated last time they had played at this venue it wasn’t sold out, but on that night it changed – marking a heartwarming triumph. After a two song encore, vocalist James Bagshaw dived into the crowd – proving a powerful ending to “Sun Structures” and “Mesmerize.”

Later this month, Temples will be crossing over the Europe to continue the tour. You can stream Hot Motion here and follow the band on Facebook to keep up to date with what they have in store.
